Teeth Whitening at home

By AkanskhaWhy doesn’t any one love to have dazzling white teeth which are important for a complete smile? But in this busy world no one wants to run around dental clinics and spend their hard-earned money on cosmetic procedures for whitening their teeth’s. They are seriously time consuming and expensive. From this comes the taught of finding ways for home procedures and remedies that are more convenient, time saving and effective.
Many dental products manufacturing companies are now competing to produce whitening kits that can be used at home with ease. The manufactures have come up with varieties of brush on whitening kits, strips that you can stick on your teeth, mouth washes and many tooth trays with bleaching agents. Some of them have advanced and produced kits with light technologies. They use laser teeth whitening procedures with formulated gel designed to use at home. Though all these are effective for a period of time they are still expensive and a burden on our pockets.
For all the people out there who are looking for less expensive and convenient methods home remedies are the best solution. They are as simple as just having an apple after your meal! Read on for some simple tips like this.
First thing you need do is to brush your teeth with proper technique which is firm and not forcible. Using baking soda, charcoal ashes, bark of walnut tree combined with your tooth paste are some of the easiest ways. Rinse thoroughly with water after applying these procedures on your teeth. Having apple, celery, carrots, and strawberries after your meal will help you remove stubborn stain on the teeth. Rubbing your teeth with the white part of the orange peel is also one of the simple home techniques. Don’t forget to drink water after having coffee and blue berries. Make your own whitening tooth paste with a mixture of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, table salt and a small amount of your tooth paste. This works really very good.
Never use finger nails to remove the stain on the tooth. They may worse the problem. Using of vitamin c or lemon may cause you to lose the calcium on your teeth, which weakens the tooth and makes them more sensitive. Having lot of tea, coffee, red wine carbonated drinks smoking and also too hot and too cold drinks are some reasons responsible for the stains on the teeth. All remedies do not show immediate results but have constant effect on the preventing the problem.
So start with any of the teeth whitening procedures from the above and have that movie-star smile on your face! And for all the food freaks, who love grazing all day do not have to stop for a staining reason.

Going to visit Taj Mahal, but have no idea where does it reside? You are not the one who is going through this dilemma, but there are many who still don’t know where it Is exactly. Everyone knows that Taj Mahal is one of the 7 wonders of the world. And the place where does it reside is Agra and it is about 205 km from Indian capital, Delhi. Taj Mahal tour is one of the most exciting and popular tour in India.

Described by the Indian classical poet rabindranath Tagore as a “tear in the face of eternity”, the Taj Mahal is undoubtedly one of magnificent structure and quite simply world’s most marvelous buildings.

Taj Mahal remains open from 6 am-7 pm every day except Fridays. Entry fees for foreigners costs Rs 970 and for Indian tourists especially during sunrise and sunset costs Rs 110 and during daytime Rs 20/-. On Fridays, people are allowed to go for the customary prayers between 1200 hrs 1400 hrs at the mosque in the Taj Mahal complex.

Here are some reasons, why does Taj Mahal so special which is to be visited:

Taj Mahal in the morning

The glory of this monument is the crowds which throng infornt of this captivating monument and looks these people look as ants. Taj looks beautiful when it is shrouded in mists and bathed with soft red glow. As its vast marble surface falls into shadow or reflect the sun, its color changes, from soft grey and yellow and pearly cream and dazzling white; it is well versed with visiting different occasions.

Beauty of Taj Mahal during day

The Taj Mahal shows different aspect of beauty at different times at day time. The sight of Taj presents with subtle pink of dawn which makes an unforgettable sight. But nothing can beat the poignant beauty of the Taj seen when the cool white marble is covered under the soft silver light of the moon.

Spending time

There’s no time limit while visiting Taj Mahal, people usually spend most of their day time here by sitting, reading or picnicking in the beautifully and well maintained garden.

The best thing about this place and its management is that, no hawkers are allowed in which will surely make this place to and headache by those hawkers, and also you are being provided with hotels and accompanied by organized guides. The ticket office, just outside the western gate, is rarely blocked by long waiting queues, except between 4 and 5 pm before the entry fees increases, and keep in mind of having with good amount of money as these ticket sellers rarely have any change.

So go and have a visit to the place where you will get real meaning of love, beauty, Taj Mahal.

What is Internet Banking?

By Nithu Raveen

The internet plays vital role in the entire field that touches in our general life’s activities like Education, Retailers, Shopping and even the banks. This Internet helps everyone in time manner. It stops the worry about queue, face to face interaction problem and waste of time in that. Internet banking works with a secure website and it is owned and operated by the virtual bank, credit Union or building society. Through this website the customers will have their financial transaction like EBPP(electronic bill presentment & payment), Fund transfer (Own account or other account), investments, Loans, Non-Transactional Details (Statements, links) Bank Statements, credit, debit cards, account details and summary and accessing the account 24/7. A customer can complete this on the time, sitting comfortable in his living room or anywhere he wish for. Security code service is there in internet banking which maximize the online security using multiple layers of protection.

Internet Banking is doing the same job of traditional banks.

How Internet Banking Works? Internet banking works on the same job of traditional banks. The primary difference is accessing in internet rather than a paper or phone for transactions. Any type of transaction happens at one click in the internet.

Get Register to & signing up in the internet banking facility given by the Bank. A Password authentication PIN/TAN will be given for the security purpose. PIN/TAN is generated by the need using security token. Each security token has seed number, which is combined with the current time and run through an algorithm. The server and the gadget both know the all these so each gadget get different numbers. This internet banking is usually done via web browser using SSL secured connection. If it is signature based internet banking transactions are all signed and encrypted digitally. These are stored in smart cards.

When we speak about the internet banking it is must to speak about the problems in the internet banking. A recent study shows that there is increase in fraud, forgery, which makes people lack trust. There are many proxy sites; they can steal the login data and TAN and can copy the data of transaction given by you for your own transactions. We will come to know this issue once we take print of the transactions. In case of signature based internet banking - manipulating the used software in a way and faked transactions are signed in background.

Things to avoid the internet banking problems

Do not mark down your login ID, passwords.

Do not to reveal any information of your account through email and via phone too.

Tracing the keystrokes using virus and other programs, these keystrokes will transmit the information about your account to another computer and it will affect your PC too.

However this internet banking helps the people in saving their time. If we have awareness about the above said problems, we can enjoy the fruit of internet banking as much as possible.

Power Grid Executive Trainee ET Exam Sample Papers, Exam Pattern, Question Papers, Books

This blog post is a sequel to my earlier blog article titled "PGCIL ET Recruitment 2010 Notification, Eligibility & Forms", which gives you introductory information on Power Grid Corporation as well as how to apply for the Executive Trainee positions.

The focus of this blog post is to help you prepare for the Power Grid exam by telling you what the Power Grid test pattern is and by giving you the sources to download model/sample/past years papers for exams similar to Power Grid. Further, it would also give you the list of some books for preparation of Power Grid exam.

At first let us begin this by knowing Power Grid written test pattern.

Power Grid ET Exam Pattern:
Power Grid written test consists of two papers: Technical Knowledge Test (TKT) &Executive Aptitude Test (EAT). While the questions of Aptitude test is common, questions of the Technical test would depend on which disciplines (Electrical or Finance) you have applied for.

There are 120 questions in Technical test & 50 in Aptitude – so a total of 170 multiple-choice questions, which needs to be answered in 2 hours. Thus you have 40 seconds aprox. to answer each question – the questions as such are not difficult and therefore your main focus would be time-management to answer maximum questions correctly.
Notes of caution: There is negative marking: 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. So if you make a guess, make it wisely!

For Aptitude test the questions asked are on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, ability to determine data sufficiency, interpretation of graphs/charts/tables, numerical ability etc.

Power Grid ET exam papers:
I had searched on the net for for Power Grid ET exam sample/model/previous years paper but could not find any website where you can find them. However, I could find some papers of NTPC ET exam which can be used by you, just to know the standard of questions. Exam patten of NTPC is identical to Power Grid.

These papers are:
Placementpapers.net
Placementpapers have a good collection of NTPC test papers of previous years. Click here to find these NTPC papers.

123eng.com
Another good site where you can find some more NTPC papers is 123eng.com. Click here to find these NTPC papers.

Freshersworld.com
Find some more NTPC test papers from this link.

All the above papers should be used with a pinch of salt – I found many of them repeated in more than website. Therefore, you can use the following books as preparatory material for the Power Grid test for Executive Trainees. You can also use these sample papers for aptitude test which I had posted for SBI PO exam, as the sections of the Aptitude tests are similar.

Books for Power Grid test for Executive Trainees:
Following books are available in most of the good book shops. You can also order them online by clicking the book name through credit card as well as by Cash-On-Delivery (i.e. you pay when you get the book) from books4u.in, which is giving a good discount of 20%.

Cover Price: Rs. 99 Offered Price: Rs. 79/- (20% OFF)

For Technical Test:
Following books for competitive exams (electrical engineering) should help you prepare for Power Grid ET exam:

Cover Price: Rs. 119 Offered Price: Rs. 95/- (20% OFF).

Power Grid GD topics/Interview questions:
Post PGCIL written test, you have to appear for GD & Interview.
For GD, you may go through the blog post of mine titled Group Discussion for job, which tells you nuances of GD and how to prepare for it. Also for preparation of interview, check my other blog post titled: Interview for Jobs.

I am sorry but I could not find any sample papers/books for Power Grid exam for finance discipline. If you know of any such book for preparation of Power Grid exam for Finance discipline, I would love if you post them as comments below.

Hope above preparatory materials (Sample Papers & Books) for Power Grid Executive Trainee test help you to win that coveted job in Power Grid.

UNION SERVICE PUBLIC COMMISSION

At the time when British government was ruling us; they set up a commission named public service commission in 1926 for appointing people for different civil services. But it failed to satisfy people’s expectations. So government created a new commission called Federal Service Commission for better implementation under pressure of leaders of various movements. After India became separate and got freedom; Indian assembly foreseeing the need of autonomous body to recruit people for different civil services, given Federal Service Commission a special status of an autonomous body and named it as UNION SERVICE PUBLIC COMMISSION, so there will be no bargaining with quality.

For this commission some constitutional provision was made under article 315. Some duties and role of commission is as follows:-

It should conduct recruitment for posts under it, through competitive exam only.
Recruitment for central government’s posts and services should be selected by taking an interview.
It should handle all disciplinary cases related to different civil services under it.
It should also solve the legal cases related to miscellaneous issues.
It also advises government on methods for conducting recruitment exam for various services.
In three different ways recruitment can be made viz. direct recruitment, by advertising and recruitment through transfer. In direct recruitment, selection is done through competitive exam or through interview or using both. In transfer, after consulting with government, commission simply promotes one officer to next grade or promotes to next level in the same grade. Recently to make admission process simple, it has started a project named “SAMPERA (Screening and Mechanized Processing of Examination and Recruitment Application)”. In this commission has made a simplified single sheet application valid for all exams and this application and papers are checked using OMR/ICR technology.

This will result in higher accuracy of examination result. In exams, strict and stringent disciplinary measurements are taken for preventing any copying or malpractices. Examination timings and syllabus is declared four to five months before the actual examinations and those who get good grades in these exams are considered to have bright future.
