Bollywood’s
Super Season
It’s raining movies in Bollywood this
season. Many big and small budget movies have lined up for release. Around 35
movies have lined up for release between June and September.
Some big banner movies to be released are
Teri Meri Kahaani starring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, paired together
for the second time after Kaminey. It is a romance drama film directed by Kunal
Kohli and distributed by Nadiawala Grandson Entertainment. The tagline of the
movie is "thrice upon a love story", as the story is set between
1910, 1960, and 2012. Each character plays a different role in each time
period. It is expected to release on 22 June 2012.
Another movie lined up is Bol Bachchan. It
is an upcoming Bollywood romance comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty. The film
stars Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin and Prachi Desai in lead roles. The
film is expected to release on July 6, 2012.
The much awaited movie Cocktail starring
Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and debutant Dina Penty. Directed by Homi
Adajania, it is a romantic comedy film based on love triangle. It is expected
to release on 13 July 2012.
Few other movies are Ek Tha Tiger starring
Salman Khan and Katrina expected to release on 15 August, Jism 2 starring adult
film star Sunny Leone and Randeep Hooda directed by Pooja Bhatt expected to
release on 27 July 2012, heroine starring Kareena Kapoor directed by Madhur
Bhandarkar, Preity Zinta’s comeback movie Ishkq in Paris, and many more.
Many films are expected to cross the 100
crore mark. With so many films lined up, viewers are excited as they are
offered so much. Also the entertainment business is expected to make much
profit. It’s a win to win situation for everyone.
