Going to visit Taj Mahal, but have no idea where does it reside? You are not the one who is going through this dilemma, but there are many who still don’t know where it Is exactly. Everyone knows that Taj Mahal is one of the 7 wonders of the world. And the place where does it reside is Agra and it is about 205 km from Indian capital, Delhi. Taj Mahal tour is one of the most exciting and popular tour in India.

Described by the Indian classical poet rabindranath Tagore as a “tear in the face of eternity”, the Taj Mahal is undoubtedly one of magnificent structure and quite simply world’s most marvelous buildings.

Taj Mahal remains open from 6 am-7 pm every day except Fridays. Entry fees for foreigners costs Rs 970 and for Indian tourists especially during sunrise and sunset costs Rs 110 and during daytime Rs 20/-. On Fridays, people are allowed to go for the customary prayers between 1200 hrs 1400 hrs at the mosque in the Taj Mahal complex.

Taj Mahal in the morning

The glory of this monument is the crowds which throng infornt of this captivating monument and looks these people look as ants. Taj looks beautiful when it is shrouded in mists and bathed with soft red glow. As its vast marble surface falls into shadow or reflect the sun, its color changes, from soft grey and yellow and pearly cream and dazzling white; it is well versed with visiting different occasions.

Beauty of Taj Mahal during day

The Taj Mahal shows different aspect of beauty at different times at day time. The sight of Taj presents with subtle pink of dawn which makes an unforgettable sight. But nothing can beat the poignant beauty of the Taj seen when the cool white marble is covered under the soft silver light of the moon.

Spending time

There’s no time limit while visiting Taj Mahal, people usually spend most of their day time here by sitting, reading or picnicking in the beautifully and well maintained garden.

The best thing about this place and its management is that, no hawkers are allowed in which will surely make this place to and headache by those hawkers, and also you are being provided with hotels and accompanied by organized guides. The ticket office, just outside the western gate, is rarely blocked by long waiting queues, except between 4 and 5 pm before the entry fees increases, and keep in mind of having with good amount of money as these ticket sellers rarely have any change.

So go and have a visit to the place where you will get real meaning of love, beauty, Taj Mahal.
