Anna Hazare and his movement against corruption

Anna Hazare and his movement against corruption

He might not have influenced the Indians as the great freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi did, but he surely has won many hearts. People don’t agree with some of his ideologies but at the age of 73 years people admire his enthusiasm and selfless devotion to eradicate corruption from the Indian society. His true words and his speech inspire people to think what they have done for the society or for the Indians.

He is the man who once again bought the nation together and forced the people to act and bring revolution. In the fight for removal of corruption, he went on a 13 day hunger strike followed by his arrest. He the man with a Gandhi topi believes that if people of India come together then Jan Lokpal bill will bring a change in their lives. His name ‘Anna’ stands for big bother.

People of India should support his movement and initiative as he is the man who is fighting for our rights and better living. At this age also he is ready to fast till death. When he was arrested, thousands of people protested by marching. Around 1300 supporters were detained also.

The Jan Lokpal bill is a draft-anti-corruption bill which is currently being passed in Lok Sabha by the efforts of Anna Hazare. Through people’s support only this movement was a success. Corrupt people don’t support him and his movement as they think he is a fake personality and is only gaining sympathy and media coverage. Almost everyone is corrupt in India. Ordinary people pay bribe for not getting arrested, for getting their work done fast. But this is harming our country’s development. Removal of corruption itself can solve almost every problem faced by our country. Let’s support him for a corrupt free nation.
